Takeuchi Announces New Northwest Regional Product Manager

Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has announced that they have hired Kent Cantrell as their Northwest Regional Product Manager. Kent will be responsible for all development and activity for equipment sales within the Northwest region. His primary responsibilities include product training for dealer sales staff, assisting with equipment demonstrations, interaction with end users, and supporting efforts in retailing, training, and growing the Takeuchi business in his territory.
Residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Kent brings nearly 15 years of experience in the construction equipment and related businesses. He has experience in both the sales and rental side of compact equipment.

Takeuchi Annouces New Southeast Regional Business Manager

Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has appointed Steve DePriest to the position of Southeast Regional Business Manager. New to the company, DePriest brings with him over 15 years of professional experience in construction equipment. His core responsibilities in his territory include managing dealer relationships, developing new and existing markets, assisting with inventories, and directing sales planning and program promotions.
Residing in Kennesaw, Georgia, DePriest has experience in manufacturing and wholesale. He has been involved in dealer training, retail sales, customer development and selling to original equipment manufacturers. DePriest has also previously worked with excavators and wheel loaders, and has been involved in all of the industries that Takeuchi serves.

"Steve is an intelligent guy and brings with him a wealth of experience in the very industries that we serve at Takeuchi. He knows our product lines well and has worked in the Southeast for many years, so the transition period should be rather smooth. He will do a great job for us and we are looking forward to him bringing Takeuchi to an even higher level throughout the Southeast."
Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US has announced they are making plans to expand their Pendergrass, Georgia operations by building a new distribution facility on their existing campus. The new facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015, and will bring new employment opportunities to the area.
The new distribution facility will increase the storage space by over 40 percent and will provide additional parts and machine storage for future growth through 2019 and beyond.
The current operation has over 70 full time associates and provides machine storage, parts distribution and a training area for dealers and their employees. Takeuchi is located in the Valentine Farms Industrial Park development.
