Takeuchi Hires New Southwest Regional Business Manager

Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has announced they have hired Scott Mobley to the position of southwest regional business manager. The announcement follows Hampton Wideman’s move to the western region after working in the southwest region for the past two years.
Effective immediately, Mobley is responsible in his territory to manage dealer relationships, develop new and existing markets, assist with inventories, and direct sales plans and program promotions.
Residing in Kansas City, Missouri, Mobley brings nearly 20 years of experience in the construction equipment and related businesses. Additionally, he has experience in both the rental and wholesale side of the equipment business.
“We are excited to have Scott on board and know that he will do a great job with his background in construction and rental—two of our biggest markets at Takeuchi,” said Kim Robinson, director of sales, Takeuchi-US. “Other than coming up to speed on our equipment, it should be a seamless transition for him. We have no doubt that he will continue the momentum in the southwest that Hampton started.”
Takeuchi Promotes David Caldwell to National Product Manager

Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has appointed David Caldwell to national product manager, effective immediately. Caldwell has been the product and training manager for Takeuchi for nearly six years, and has over seventeen years of industry experience.
In his new role, Caldwell is responsible for all new and current Takeuchi products available in the North American market. Additional responsibilities will include national sales training events and overseeing the direction and daily tasks of the product team.
“David is very knowledgeable on both the industries we serve and products – we look forward to seeing him in his new role,” says Clay Eubanks, president, Takeuchi-US. “This position is a natural fit for him and he will do a terrific job, as he has for us in the past, leading our product team.”
Takeuchi Promotes David Steger to Global Training Manager

Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has promoted David Steger to global training manager This new roll will help better serve Takeuchi’s global market by providing the latest technical training to Takeuchi subsidiaries and distributors around the world. David Steger has worked for Takeuchi since 2004 and most recently held the position of national product manager for Takeuchi.
In addition to coordinating training for the worldwide market, Steger will help develop technical training materials and work toward implementing a new online knowledge database. He will also begin development on a digital learning management system with fresh digital content.
“David has been with Takeuchi for nearly 12 years and certainly is deserving of this promotion,” says Clay Eubanks, president, Takeuchi-US. “I am confident that he will continue to provide world class training both here and abroad.”
