2025: Making our Best Better
In my office, preparing for 2025, I reflect upon and appreciate all Takeuchi-US was able to accomplish throughout 2024. As Takeuchi enters its 46th year in the US, we’re getting ready to embark upon another quest. Each year, I come up with a theme that we try to instill across all areas of our business. Our 2025 theme, or motto, will be “Make our Best Better.” My hope is that each area of our business will continue to improve this year. We have many big challenges ahead of us, but I’m confident in our team’s ability to get the job done while making our best better.
During 2024, we made progress in many areas, but we never lost focus on what truly matters. Making our best better extends beyond sales goals and budgets to helping our neighbors and our communities. Takeuchi-US employees were once again generous with their gifts this year, and as a result, we were able to donate more than 200 holiday meals to local food banks in Georgia and South Carolina. Even as some of our own employees struggled with the lingering effects and aftermath of Hurricane Helene, they dug deep to help their fellow man.
We also believe in helping build better, more experienced workforces. That’s why we continued our relationship with Athens Technical College in Georgia, donating more than $90,000 worth of diesel engines to their diesel technician program. And, for the first time, we developed a new, similar relationship in South Carolina by donating $30,000 worth of engines to Spartanburg Community College. It’s our hope that these donations will give students invaluable experience that they can take with them throughout their careers.
I’m excited to announce that Takeuchi will be offering a new, three-year or 3,000-hour Premier standard limited warranty free of charge on all new Takeuchi mini excavators, compact track loaders and crawler dumpers. This industry-leading, standard limited warranty is just one example of how we’re pursuing continuous improvement in 2025. We hope it will help ease your mind when upgrading or expanding your current fleet with new Takeuchi machines
In conjunction with this new warranty, Takeuchi will also be including our Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) services free of charge for the first five years on new machines equipped with TFM. This will provide customers with remote access to their machines’ health and condition, runtimes and locations, diagnostics, maintenance reminders, geofencing and much more.
Add to all this our current low-rate financing, and it’s clear to see we’re starting off 2025 with a bang.
