There is no doubt 2020 has been a challenging year. Despite this, there has still been a lot of good news, including here at Takeuchi. Please welcome our new dealers, new employees and some deserving promotions.
New Dealers:
Mountain Farm International: Located in Crossville, Tennessee, Mountain Farm International will be a full line Takeuchi dealer that will provide sales, service, parts and rental for customers throughout middle Tennessee.
In business since 1981, Mountain Farm International originally started as a quality tractor and equipment dealership in the upper Cumberland area. Hired as president in 2010, Brandon Robbins became the sole owner in 2015.
Luby Equipment Services: Luby Equipment has been an established Takeuchi dealer for many years supporting customers throughout Missouri and Illinois. Earlier this year Luby Equipment was named Takeuchi’s exclusive dealer in St. Louis. With 3 locations in the St. Louis metro area they will provide sales, service, parts and rental.
Established in 1974, Luby Equipment is headquartered in Fenton, Missouri. Bob Luby started the company in 1974 and remains a family owned company with his two sons, Tim and Steve. Steve is president of Luby Equipment and Luby Shoring services, while Tim is part of the senior management team.
RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply: RoadBuilders Machinery has expanded their Takeuchi equipment offering to include their Springfield, Missouri location. Headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas, Roadbuilders Machinery now offers Takeuchi equipment in all of their locations throughout Nebraska and MO.
Originally starting off serving the construction industry when it was established in 1985, the dealer has since branched off into additional markets with more available equipment lines. This includes construction, earthmoving, mining, landscaping, erosion control, aggregate processing, drilling, material handling, paving, compaction, trailer and attachment products.
Synergy Equipment: Supporting the Macon, Georgia market, Synergy Equipment
will specialize in Takeuchi sales, service, parts and rental to customers throughout middle Georgia.
The company started in 2012 and provides multiple lines of equipment manufacturers for a wide variety of customers from large commercial construction to local contractors.
EquipmentShare: In July, EquipmentShare became a new dealer for Takeuchi supporting the Columbia, Missouri market. In addition to stocking parts, this location will also be an authorized Takeuchi equipment repair center to support new and existing customers.
Founded in 2014, this new Takeuchi dealer provides multiple lines of equipment manufacturers for a wide variety of customers, from large commercial construction to local contractors.
New Hires & Promotions:
Robert Vistad & Dillon Headden: Please welcome to our growing team Robert and Dillon, who are our newest regional business managers. Robert is based in the West region, while Dillon is located in the Mid-Atlantic region. They were brought on to our team in late February.
Robert has both dealer and manufacturing experience. His last two positions include managing sales at an equipment dealership in San Diego, California and as a senior account manager for a construction equipment distributor. Dillon was previously with a national rental company in South Carolina.
Jim Spicer: We are excited to announce Jim Spicer has joined our team as a regional product manager for the Midwest. Jim started in early March.
Jim comes to us with nine years of experience working on the dealer side. He recently was with a dealer in Illinois as a sales account and operations manager. Prior to this, he was a product support specialist working with a dealership in Farmer City, Illinois.
Patrick Kirychuk: Patrick joined our team in early July as regional business manager. He will oversee Canada and Alaska.
With almost two decades of experience in heavy equipment sales and management in various roles, he most recently was with SMS Equipment in Alberta, Canada as a sales representative before his promotion to product manager.
In Patrick’s time as a sales representative for SMS Equipment, he successfully grew the market in the Calgary region, developing new customers for a very specific product line and worked extensively with Takeuchi products.
Henry Lawson & John Vranches: In late March, we announced our promotions of Henry and John to new leadership roles. Henry is now our director of sales, while John is in a new role as divisional sales manager.
Keith Kramlich & Joseph Huling: In early April, we promoted two of our employees to critical product and service positions. Keith takes the position of national product and training manager, while Joseph is now the national service and warranty manager.
For Keith, this is his second promotion since he was hired in 2016 as a regional service manager. For Joseph, he was promoted from his previous position as the northeast regional service manager.
Awards:
Takeuchi Dealer of the Year: We are excited to announce Feenaughty Machinery Company as our 2019 Dealer of the Year. The full-service construction dealer has locations in Portland and Eugene, Oregon. They ranked No. 1 in total sales for our products last year. Congratulations, Feenaughty Machinery!
Salesman of the Year: We are also excited to announce Bill Smith of Cobb Country Tractor, located in Marietta, Georgia, was presented Takeuchi Salesman of the Year for his successful sales efforts last year. This marks the third time he has taken top honors after ranking No. 1 in retail sales in the U.S. Congrats, Bill!
Central Midwest Dealer of the Year: Star Equipment (four locations in Iowa)
West Region Dealer of the Year: Tri-West Tractor (Livermore, California)
Mid-Atlantic Dealer of the Year: Groff Tractor Mid Atlantic (locations in Maryland and Delaware)
Southeast Dealer of the Year: Cowin Equipment (locations in Alabama, Georgia and Florida)
Midwest Region Dealer of the Year: Diamond Equipment (locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Tennessee)
